ABOUT KAPPA KAPPA PSI - ETA UPSILON
The Eta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was founded May 1, 1982 by the Delta Gamma chapter from Missouri University of Science and Technology, formerly the University of Missouri - Rolla.
Since it was founded, it has been focused on helping the band program at the University run smoothly by helping prepare for marching band and concert band rehearsals, and by helping move equipment for concerts. On football gamedays they pass out fruit to members of Marching Mizzou after halftime, and they also assist in larger projects such as re-painting the practice field.

Throughout the year the Eta Upsilon chapter can be seen with its fryer, at events affectionately named "Kappa Kappa Fry-Day", selling fried confectionery goods, with Fried Oreos being the most popular. The most vital fundraising point of the year with fryer is when Mizzou hosts the MSHAA State Solo and Ensemble contest in the spring.

The members of Kappa Kappa Psi are active performers in several of the University's ensembles and work in accordance with the Zeta Omega Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma to perform in "Pop-Up Bands", in which they perform traditional University songs, as well as other popular or festive music.
